 Silvija Andernovics is the President of LATE.
 Vita Kalnberzina, a PhD in Linguistics (Lancaster University, UK), is working as an assistant professor of Latvia University, Modern Language Faculty, she is also the director of Modern languages teacher training programme and the president of Latvian Association of Language Teachers and heads University of Latvia Language acquisition research group.
 Robert Buckmaster is the Director of Studies at International House Riga - Satva and has previously worked for the British Council throughout Eastern and Central Europe. He has a Latvian wife and three children and lives in the beautiful city of Jelgava. He is a language consultant for LATE.
 Dace Miska worked in Riga State Gymnasium No.1 from 2000 until August 2008. Now she devotes all her time for representing Oxford University Press and enjoying the advantage of being close to English books every day. Her dream is to become a good Teacher Trainer and help the colleagues with refreshing the forgotten knowledge and gain new ideas for their classroom.
 Oksana Deica is a member of LATE since 1991 and the board member since 1992. She is responsible for LATEs work in Latgale region. She is also responsible for regional Debate competitions in Latgale. They have debating tours in the region and in the state 4 times a year as well as a Forum every December in Daugavpils. Oksana teaches English to students of Forms 10-12 in Daugavpils.
 Baiba Svenca works as a teacher of English in Aizkraukle Regional Gymnasium and is the head of English teachers in Aizkraukle district. She has done international projects with students and participated in various teacher training seminars and courses abroad. Her hobby is ICT technologies, she has been using multimedia tools in her work, the latest of them being Moodle.
 Vita Caice is a LATE member since the birth of the organisation and thanks to it, especially our Silvija, such notions as Positive Thinking and Life Long Learning have become part of her. She works at the Children and Youth centre "Laimīte" in Riga as an English teacher and enjoys both teaching English and learning other languages herself. She tries to keep fit and find nice, enjoyable moments in everyday life, family, friends.
